Without electricity use of lighting apparatus should be limited to essential purposes. Light is needed to navigate at night and identify threats at night.  All other uses of lighting apparatus should be curtailed.

• Stock pile battery powered flashlights and lanterns
• Stock pile rechargeable batteries for the flashlights and lanterns and  solar powered rechargers.
• stock pile flashlights that can be charged by shaking 
• Kerosene lanterns require large stock piles of fuel and can be fire hazards
